Artmark improves IT infrastructure with AWS solutions implemented by Flexa Cloud

AWS solutions guarantee 100% availability and security for the company to keep moving forward.

A artmark is a company specialized in digital business development. It develops websites, applications, e-commerce platforms, among other products and services.

In growth, the company needed to improve its IT infrastructure to keep moving forward. Initially, it implemented Amazon Web Services on its own, but then realized that it needed more structured assistance.

It was then that the Flexa Cloud, a company specialized in AWS solutions, entered the field to implement the infrastructure and help Artmark gain technological strength, automate processes and maximize results.

This story, in more detail and even with results already obtained, is what you will read next. Follow up!

Challenge:

Improve IT infrastructure to keep moving forward

Artmark's growth has been vertiginous in recent years, especially when it comes to winning over customers looking for online sales channels.

“We already have clients from outside Brazil for whom we develop e-commerce; therefore, we work at a national and international level”, points out Guilherme Gualtieri, CTO at Artmark.

The executive says that in recent years they have realized the need to expand their IT infrastructure. “On our own, we were acquiring AWS solutions, but we realized the complexity involved and wanted to dedicate ourselves to the core business, so we were advised to contact Flexa Cloud to help us in this mission”.

Solution:

Flexa Cloud Implements Databases and Other AWS Solutions

By partnering with Flexa Cloud, Artmark now has a team 100% dedicated to understanding your needs and proposing the best AWS solutions. “The first thing the Flexa people told us was to implement the Aurora Serverless database”, explains Guilherme.

→ Aurora is the MySQL and PostgreSQL compatible relational database built for the Amazon cloud that combines the performance and availability of high-end commercial databases with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open source databases.

Aurora Serverless provides an on-demand, auto-scaling, high-availability relational database that only charges when in use.

All you need to do is set up a cluster and then all the maintenance, patching, backups, replication and scaling are done automatically for you.

Results:

Automation, availability and total control

Although the project is still in progress, Guilherme Gualtieri, CTO of Artmark, says that there is already something to celebrate.

The security provided by Flexa Cloud services means that the Artmark team does not have to worry about availability, stability and reliability of the IT infrastructure.

“During Black Friday, for example, we were in the process of migrating several of our customers who needed to continue operating. And we didn't register any occurrence of unavailability or problems with fraud and other security issues”, celebrates Guilherme.

Artmark also now relies on AWS Graviton, the processor that powers Amazon EC1 A2 instances. These instances provide significant cost savings over other general-purpose instances for scale-out applications such as web servers, containerized microservices, data/log processing, and other workloads that can run on smaller cores and fit into the available memory space.

“The partnership with Flexa Cloud has been very important for us, as we have all the technical support; we know that we can count on the Flexa team to help us with AWS implementations”, says Guilherme.

About Flexa Cloud

In the market for 11 years, Flexa is a reference in Cloud (Migration to Cloud). All this success is understandable when looking at its trajectory, marked by highly successful partnerships. The first of them, with New Relic, a US company that operates in the area of application performance monitoring, began in 2012.

Since then, partnerships have expanded more and more and, with them, Flexa's product portfolio. Soon after New Relic, AWS Amazon, the world leader in cloud computing, joined the company's partner team. This happened in 2013. A year later it was Zadara's turn, an American company that offers storage solutions. Just like the other two partners.

In 2017, another North American company signed a partnership with Flexa: Zerto, which offers solutions in Disaster Recovery. In 2018, Israeli Spotinst arrives to help Flexa customers reduce spending costs in the clouds. Finally, in 2019, Sumo Logic, a SIEM solution, joined the ranks of Flexa, expanding its offer to the market.

With a high quality technical team, nationally and internationally recognized partners, Flexa has as one of the main brands in its history the search for excellence in the services provided. → CONTACT US NOW!
